Outbound airport drops at Suvarnabhumi normally go straight to the gate closest to your airline's check-in counter. If you're claiming a VAT refund — or need a specific entrance — tell us at booking and we'll plan the drop accordingly.
01Departing with VAT refund?
Tourists claiming a Thailand VAT refund need a Customs inspection BEFORE checking bags. Tell your chauffeur "VAT refund" at booking — drop-off is Level 4 Gate 10, the closest entrance to the VAT inspection counter. Add 30 minutes to your usual airport buffer.
Drop-off at Level 4, Gate 10
Standard airline drops are at the gate closest to your check-in counter; Gate 10 is the dedicated VAT refund drop. Mention "VAT refund" at booking so the chauffeur plans the route accordingly.
Customs inspection at the VAT counter
From Gate 10, walk inside to the "VAT Refund for Tourists" counter. Bring your passport, the PP10 forms from each shop, and any high-value items the form requires inspection of. After the stamp, check your bags normally — the cash refund itself is at a second counter past immigration.
