Flat THB 10,000 one-way to your Kanchanaburi town hotel; THB 14,000 if you're staying deeper into Sai Yok district (FloatHouse River Kwai, Jungle Rafts, Resotel).
How long the drive takes
Bangkok to Kanchanaburi town is roughly 130 km via Highway 4 and Highway 323 — 2 to 2.5 hours each way off-peak. Sai Yok district resorts sit another 80–120 km west of town, so figure 3.5–4 hours total from Bangkok. Weekend morning departures from Sukhumvit are smoothest. Friday late-afternoon traffic on Route 4 can stretch the run by 45–60 minutes — we plan around it.

Town tier at THB 10,000 covers Bangkok → Kanchanaburi town drop (Bridge over the River Kwai area, FX Kanchanaburi, Royal Riverkwai, riverside hotels near the JEATH Museum). Sai Yok tier at THB 14,000 covers Bangkok → the resort-belt deeper into Sai Yok district: River Kwai Jungle Rafts, FloatHouse River Kwai, River Kwai Resotel, and similar bungalow resorts. Same vehicle, same chauffeur — the longer rate just covers the extra 120 km west of town.
An overnight, or a long day out
Kanchanaburi rewards a slower visit, so most guests make it an overnight: book the one-way drop on arrival day — flat THB 10,000 to a town hotel, or THB 14,000 to a Sai Yok riverside resort — then a separate return transfer for the day you head back to Bangkok. If you'd rather see the Bridge, the Death Railway and Erawan Falls in a single day and sleep in Bangkok, a same-day River Kwai run can be arranged too — details in the FAQ below.

Can we go and come back the same day?
Yes — a same-day River Kwai day trip can be arranged. In one long day the chauffeur can take you to the Bridge over the River Kwai, along the Death Railway, and out to either Erawan Falls or the Hellfire Pass memorial, then drive you back to Bangkok the same evening. The chauffeur shuttles you between the sites and waits while you explore each one on your own — it isn't a guided tour, and we don't sell the entry tickets. Because it's a long day on the road, we quote it case by case rather than at a flat rate: message us on WhatsApp or LINE with your date and the sites you'd like, and we'll confirm.
Which resorts are in the Sai Yok tier?
River Kwai Jungle Rafts, FloatHouse River Kwai, River Kwai Resotel, and similar bungalow resorts in Sai Yok district. Hotels in Kanchanaburi town (FX Kanchanaburi, Royal Riverkwai, the riverside ones near the Bridge) stay at the town tier of THB 10,000. If you're unsure which tier your accommodation falls in, send us the name on the booking form and we'll confirm.
Do you arrange entry tickets?
No. Arrange entry tickets directly with each attraction and check its current admission conditions before travelling. The THB 10,000 fare is a one-way transfer to your Kanchanaburi town hotel. A River Kwai day itinerary is quoted separately and does not include guided visits or entry tickets.
Can we do the Death Railway scenic train ride?
You can plan a Death Railway journey separately during your stay. Check the current timetable and tickets with the railway or ask your hotel for help planning the local journey. Our THB 10,000 transfer takes you to your Kanchanaburi town hotel; train tickets and transport for local sightseeing are not included.
